24 and let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, 25 not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
Everyone knows how much I love fastpitch softball – it’s my life. My involvement in the sport has grown enormously since I began in 2015. The sky is the limit for me now. I owe much of my success to the recreational softball leagues in my area like Lexington Girls Softball and Gilbert Girls Softball, both located in Lexington County, SC.
I am still excited to participate in rec ball when my schedule allows because it gives me an opportunity to pass what I have learned and experienced onto other young ladies who are new to the sport or are still developing their skillsets.
There’s something special about neighborhood sports that travel ball does not offer, like a true sense of community that allows for development while making friends with other girls who also live in my community and attend the same schools and churches.
I have made so many friends in rec ball, many will last a lifetime. I truly appreciate all of the coaches and staff members who donate their time to help kids like me live our dreams.
